We are officially launching the first two complementary tracks of the CAP4LAND programme, which is designed to strengthen Belgium’s land defence capabilities and technological sovereignty.

CAP Projet - Collaborative innovation

Are you developing a technology with high potential for defence applications?

The CAP Project supports collaborative projects at an advanced stage of technological maturity (TRL 6–7), with a clear objective: to transform promising innovations into concrete solutions for defence.

• All Arms Air Defence
• Unmanned Ground Vehicles
• Resilient Exploitation of Tactical Data

• Up to €5.5 million in total funding for this first edition
• Structured support from Pôle MecaTech throughout the process

Timeline
• 14 June 2026: Letter of Intent deadline
• June → August 2026: maturation phase with MecaTech
• Mid-September 2026: final submission to the Ministry of Defence
• End of September 2026: announcement of results

CAPImpact Defence - Operational excellence in SME's

Does your SME already have solid industrial expertise and wish to establish itself within defence value chains?

The CAP Impact for Defence programme supports Belgian manufacturing SMEs in their industrial and operational growth.

The programme includes

• 50 days of industrial expertise
• Strategic assessment and industrial roadmap
• Strengthening of operational performance
• Support in cybersecurity, supply chain and industrial excellence
