Circular economy
At the heart of industrial transitions, the circular economy is emerging as a strategic lever for strengthening the resilience, competitiveness and autonomy of Walloon manufacturers. In the face of pressure on resources and new European requirements, it paves the way for more sustainable and efficient models.
Our role
MecaTech is mobilising its ecosystem to turn these challenges into concrete opportunities. By fostering collaboration, supporting businesses in their transformation and structuring new value chains, it helps to integrate circularity into every stage of the industrial cycle, from design to resource recovery.
Our concrete actions
Raising awareness and structuring the debate
Awareness-raising initiatives enable companies to better understand the challenges of circularity and to identify practical measures, whether these relate to managing material flows, extending product lifespans or adapting to European regulations. They often represent a first step towards more structured approaches.
Training to take action
The training courses offered by MecaTech, particularly in eco-design, provide companies with the tools needed to integrate circularity right from the design stage of their products. They enable companies to anticipate regulatory changes, secure supplies of strategic materials and strengthen industrial autonomy.
Supporting the transformation
Through structured initiatives such as CAPérennité, the Cluster supports companies in implementing their transition. This progressive and tailored approach enables the alignment of strategic vision with concrete actions, whilst strengthening the robustness, agility and competitiveness of organisations.
Testing and deployment
With CAPXperiment, companies can test and validate innovative solutions in real-world conditions before deployment. This key stage helps safeguard investments, measure the impact of solutions and accelerate their integration into industrial processes.
