Mirmex Motor is a Belgian designer and manufacturer of electric micro-motors and associated windings.
Mirmex motors are based on a patented technology that enables motors to offer performance and flexibility unmatched on the market. Developed in a university laboratory in response to the frustration associated with the cost and lack of design flexibility of high-power-density motors, Mirmex's technology enables the manufacture of winding topologies previously impossible using traditional methods.
Mirmex DC micromotors target battery-operated applications, as well as those where size, temperature rise and dynamism are crucial. Thanks to their unique characteristics, Mirmex motors are particularly well suited to :
low-inertia, high-torque DC micromotors ;
professional actuators with limited volume space;
permanent magnet motors, without notches or brushes.
