Save the date: Seminar at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU
Le 3 octobre 2018

As you probably know, the EU has finalized negotiations for an economic partnership agreement (EPA) with Japan.

EU firms already export over €58bn in goods and €28bn in services to Japan every year.

But European firms face trade barriers when exporting to Japan which makes it hard for them to compete.

The EPA with Japan will:

  • remove these barriers
  • help us shape global trade rules in line with our high standards and shared values
  • send a powerful signal that two of the world’s biggest economies reject protectionism.

In this framework, the three regional trade agencies of Belgium, Brussels Invest & Export by hub.brussels, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) are organizing a seminar in order to assist the Belgian companies to seize further opportunities from the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between Europe and Japan in its policy and technical insights.

STAY TUNED FOR THE INVITATION AND LET’S BOOST YOUR BUSINESS WITH JAPAN
